The Board decided not to get it at . present, as the overdraft was rather high ( C 773). Bayly Road.-Rcsolvcd, That the Board's stall' form twelve chains on tinlower part of the road. (Jones —Harvey.) Raliolti Road--Resolved that £2O be spent on this road for repairs. (Jones Harvey.). Upper Kahni Road.-The foreman reported that Mr. liarcia (Opiniako Savniilling t'ompanv) liad promised C 5, and Mr. j. Rothcry 30 yards of boulders (equal to £3) towards repairs, and recommended the Hoard giving £l2 towards same.—Resolved that (lie work be done on condition that, the donations are given. Ranger.—it was decided to dispense with Ihe services of (he ranger (Conroy), and to call for fresh applications for the position. The roads are full of stock at present, and settlers are complaining. A temporary ranger is to le appointed until next meeting. . Puniho Road The clerk was instructed to write to Mr. SJiorll, who was appointed arbitrator on the Puniho road, asking him when he can settle the matter of the I'uniho boundary road between (he Werekino and Parihaka Road Boards. Ngariki Road.—Resolved thai lenders be called for the unfinished contract of formation on Ngariki road.
