BREAKING DOWN PREJUDICES. _, . , Itls, October 13. The Refrigeration Conference passed resolutions recommending the use of frozen meat for troops in peaco and The Conference appointed a committee to carry ou a propaganda to remove the wrong impression which had gnen rise to the prejudice against frozen produce. The establishment of co-operative cold stores in all th e chief towns and ports of the Continent was recommended. Mr. Cooke, on behalf of Australia, said ho welcomed the Conference as likely (to prove the means of breaking down many Continental prejudiced against colonial frozen meat.
