ARRIVAL AT PORT. Thursday Island, October 12. The Chinese junk wtiicli aroused some suspicions lias arrived here. .•She originally came from Frisco, but lately from Tahiti. The captain, a man named Williams, tried to go round the Horn, but the vessel's rudder was damaged. She made her way here on her way to Shanghai. Tho captain has his wife and daughter alboard. The vessel is manned by whites. There is nothing suspicious about her.
