turning for breakfast, a search was in'atifcuted, resulting in his body being found in the Mataura. Deceased had been for some time in the Seacliff Asy.lum, but was discharged a year ago. TIRED OF LIFE. * Gisborne, Last Night. A man named Edward James-Range*. Aged 28 years, died at the Gisborne Hospital to-night as the result of a dose of arsenic, self-administered. At half-past two this afternoon he walked into tlhe police station, and stated that lie had poisoned himself at 110011 by taking arsenic as he was tired of life. Be had no money and could get no Work. Sergeant Hutton then summoned medical assistance, and the usual remedies were applied, after which he was removed to the hospital, where he died at 7 o'clock.
SUPPOSED SUICIDE. Auckland, Thursday. 'A farmer named .T. C. Meyer was drowned at Te Kuiti. The ei reninstances suggest suicide.
