REFRIGERATING CONGRESS.
Received 0, 0.10 a.m. London, October 8. At the Refrigerating Conference, Mr. Anderson, representing New Zealand, read a paper on the necessity of an international standard of meat-inspection. The paper was well received. The Conference adopted a resolution (which Mr. Anderson submitted was the New Zealand Act) as to a suitable standard of inspection. A proposal was adopted to appoint an international committee to tlx the limits and symbols used iu refrigerating industries.
