liy Telegraph.—Press Association. Wellington, Monday. The Appeal Court opened to-day. Sir Robert Stout, C.J., and Justices Williams, Denniston, Edwards, and Chapman are present. Seven cases are set down for hearing. The only suit taken to-day was ' ,n application by the Wellington Law Soeiety to strike oil' the rolls the name ol Christopher Scott, solicitor, of llaetihi, who was sentenced to eighteen months imprisonment for forging a memorial on a certificate of title and the name of the Assistant Land Registrar. The Court granted the application.
