At the liaymarket last Saturday there was a good entry of pigs, and prices were a little easier than previously. Ou Tuesday, 20th ult., wo offered lo a full attciuian.ee of buyers 300 liides, 2000 calfskins, 500 sheepskins, 2 casks and several tins tallow, 0 bales and 30 sacks wool, bones, cowtails, etc. Owing to the London and Canadian demand, sheepskins maintained lust sale prices. Wool, which was of very ordinary quality, sold in favor ot buyers. Hides were to f±<\ lower, although competition was keen throughout, wade calfskins maintained the high standard ruling last month. We are pleased to note that inntiers are' taking more pains in saving their calfskins. Out o! the whole of our catalogue we had only three slippy and 45 cut calf, the balance realising a shade over 2s 0d each.
