A special meeting of the Wellington Rugby Union was held to consider proposed alterations to the game, but everything proposed was rejected except taat matches should be played in four -fieHs of twenty minutes each. A motion. "That this Union votes a«abist any proposal to pay out-of-pocket expenses or for loss of 'time'* was carried by 17 votes to 5.
