FLOODS IN INDIA.
DISASTROUS FLOODS. Calcutta, September 29. Disastrous floods have occurred at llaiderabad, in the Meccun. Heavy loss of lite resulted. Fifteen inches of xain fell iu thirty-six hours. COLLAPSE OF A HOSPITAL, HUGE LOSSES. Received 1, 1.5 a.m. Calcutta, September 80. The Musi river overflowed its banks' at Haiderabad, Hooded the residency, and overwhelmed the suburbs of Afzulganj. where the Nizam's hospital collapsed, burying a number of patients in lhe ruins. Hundreds of natives were drowned and killed, The damage is estimated at a million and a-quartcr sterling, llaiderabad was isolated, the flood racing over the bridge.
