lIJU.S. Gibraltar has arrived lrere. The trouble about the gunsiglits was the result of a malicious net of one. ot the seamen, who has confessed to it. The Gibralter had left Aden and was .steaming down the Arabian Sea in a strong monsoon when one night the gunsiglits were found lo be missing. It was not till after the vessel lrnd lett Colombo that the culprit was traced. He will now await court martial here. .The story albou't general disaffection among the crew was due to an exaggerated story circulated by the Colombo press. Leave privileges to all the crew from the captain down were stopped at Colombo and the canteen was cl'pswl, so tihat the ship became very thirsty. As the result of this one man's action damage amounting to .CSOO was done. The act was one of sheer bravado.
