A STRONG RESOLUTION. By Telegraph.-- Tress Association. Wellington, Last Night. The conference of the New Zealand Post and Telegraph ((Ulcers' Association, at present silting in Wellington, passed the following resolution to-day: "This conference of the New Zealand Post and Telegraph Otlieers' Association places on record its sympathy with Messrs. Cummins and Schmidt, members of the Association, ill the unfortunate position in which tlrey were recently placed by being falsely accused of tlieft and forgery, and hereby very 'heartily congratulates them on their happy and f»H acquittal, 'Hie conference also expresses indignation at the iharsh manner in which they were treated while under arrest, and trusts that never again will any of its members be subjected to such star chamber methods.
