Kilda saw a woman walk to the end of a small jetty and' throw herself into the sea. They rushed to her assistance, and kept her above water til! other help arrived. The woman was unconscious when lifted out of the water, but animation was restored, and she was sent to Alfred Hospital, whore she died the same evening. Iler identity was still unknown when the body was removed to the cilv morgue, but when it arrived there Constable Watson immediately recognised it as that of Mario von Rourbach, who hail identified the body of her husband at the opening of tho coroner's iiu|uest.
