A swimmer would be warned off" the amateur swimmiu" circles, and so on. A. Lile, late of Inglewood, who was a member of the .Pro.-Blacks in the recent tour of England and Australia, will play for Taranaki against Auckland on Wednesday, vice S. Loveridge, who was selected to play the Northern Union game under a misapprehension. Morris, who played for Tukapa, will also be included in the team. A team of New Plymouth High School Old Boys are arranging a match under Northern Union rules to be played against Palmerston North High School Old Boys on 23rd September. The following are amongst those making the trip:—R. Baker (manager), L. Billing (captain), A. Osborne (vice-captain), O. Bollinger (secretary), R; D. Coker, G. Pott, P. I. Grant, A. Grant, E. Stanley, A. Harle, and T. Millington. Mr. Boeock is at present in Palmerston arranging the match, from which it is expected r o make a good profit.
