JAMESTOWN (SOUTH AUS. . THALIA).
Mr. W. J. Qui'glcy, proprietor of the Jamestown Hotel, writes as follows: "For many years I have suffered from Indigestion and Dyspepsia and was unable to find anything to give nre relief until I tried Dr. Sheldon's., Digestive Tabules. I read in the paper the advertisements about these TabuleS, and noted that they were 'higlhly recommended by many well-known people throughout Australia, and decided to give them a trial. I obtained a tin of the Tabules from the local chemist, and from tile first felt like a different man. 1 was able to enjoy my inoals as never before, and could cat what-ever I desired: and since starting to take thum have never had an. attack of indigestion. I am now thoroughly cured, and lieartily recommend Dr. Sheldon's Digestive Tabules to anyone suffering from indigestion or dyspepsia as I did." , Dr. Sheldon's Digestive Tabules are sold at 2s. Gd. per tin of 80 tabules. Obtainable everywhere.
WHAT A COW REQUIRES AT CALVING-TIME. Extract- from Waikato Argus, January 9th. 1007: "Argus, January fltli, 1007. "In your issue of 2nd uit. I notice an article culled from an English paper. The writer recommends an injection of iodide of potassium into the udder as a cure. This may possibly be of some use, but personally I believe in the old adage, 'Prevention is better than cure. 3 Round this district the farmers do- not wait until the milk fever appears, but they believe in preventing its appearance. If cows are given Sykes'a Drench before and immediately after calving, it purifies the blood and makes them better able to withstand disease. . "A iw is just like a human being in one respect—if tlie blood is kept pure there is little danger of catching any disease that may be knocking round. "'Signed) BUTTER-FAT, "Warca, Taranaki.' 5
The above opinion is confirmed by Mr. JF. Dobson, Hastings Road, Okaiawa:— "J have a very high opinion of Sykes's Drench, having used it two seasons in different cases, always with success. I have found it can be given with advantage before calving, and without am* Pear of doing harm. As a preventive of milk fever it is hard to beat, and it seems just what a cow requires and ought, to get after calving. Sykes's Drench ought to be at hand in ali cowsheds and used freely." Use only Sykcs's Drench, because H is the best. Price Is 6d packet or lfis by flic dozen. Better buy it by. the dozen. Write for Booklet. C
