Mr. Newton King on Wednesday conducted a sale of 'pedigree and grade Jersey cattle on account of Mr. C. Chirk, at his farm,. Corbett road, Bell Blottk. There was a large attendance of buyers, aud bidding for most lots was brisk. Eight Jersey heifers, two years old, springing, by Bullfinch, and ill calf .0 Wild Cherry, realised 13'/ 2 gns, 10'/ 2 gns, 9!/»gns, O'/ogns, 9y 2 gns, 13'/ 2 gns, and 7gns respectively. Seven .purebred cross-bred Jersey-Ayr-shire yearling heifers realised 4%gns each.
