Way were the M.'sC., and carried out their onerous duties in their usual courteous manner. The supper provided by the ladies of th- district was in abundance, and most toothsome. The supper-tables were decorated with narcissi, .violets, and other spring blossoms bv Miss Banna, yellow being the predominant shade.' The ladies' eommitt"e comprised—Mesdames Dockrill (president), Lealhnm, Wvlip, G. Tisch, F. E. Clarke, Penn, S. Hooper, Rollo, iStocker, Back, Simmons, F Richards, R. Jury ond E. M. The success of last night's function has i resulted in a proposal to make the New Plymouth Hospital ball an annual , MTair, and, if it is carried out on the , •ame lines as were adopted this year, j It should Income the popular gathering , of the year. ,
