LADIES' TOURNAAUSNT. By Telegraph.—Press Association Wellington, Last Night. The ladies' hockey tournament wai continued at Day's Bay this afternoon, when a good number was present to watch the live matches played, la the senior gnidc, Canterbury beat Nelson, by seven to one; Wellington drew with Wairarapa A., one each; Hawke's Bay beat Wellington B. by six to nil, aad Wairarapa B, had a bye. In the junior grade, Hawke's Bay beat Waoganui by two to one; Horowhenua beat Wellington B. by one to nil, and Wellington A. a' bye. NEW ZEALAND LADIES' ASSOCIATION FORMED. Wellington, Last Night. ' At a meeting to-aight of delegate) from Wellington, Auckland, Canterbury, Otago, South Canterbury, Wanganui, Wairarapa, Hawke's Bay, Nelson and Horowhenua a New Zealand Ladies' Hockey Association was formed, with headquarters in Wellington. The first annual meeting will be held next April, when officers will be elected. The meeting affirmed the desirability of holding annual tournaments and of inviting a team of English lady hockey players to tour New Zealand.
