NEWTON KINO'S REPORT. At the llaymarkel on Saturday there was a large entry of pegs and satisfactory prices were realised. At Xgaruawahia last Wednesday we yarded lino head of cattle. There was a good attendance and a «oiu| enquiry lor all classes. A yarding of lil head of beef sold readily. At the Addington live stork market on Wednesday there were fair entries of slock and a good attendance. There was an improved demand for store hoggets and wethers. Fat lambs sold it late rates. Fat sheep were easier. Fat cattle and pigs, except baconers. which were rather easier, sold at the previous week's prices. Store and dairy eat lie were dull of sale.

There was a smaller yardina of store sheep than last week.'the bulk being hoggets. There was a better entry of wethers, but the ewes were mostly medium sorts. The demand for hoggets was better, especially for ewe hoggets, and forward wethers were wanted for the balance of the turnip crop. Forward wethers made LVs to His 2d, others to 14s lid, ewe hoggets 14s to llis, good mixed sexes 12s to 12s !)d, backward sorts lis to Ms (id. There was a small entry of fat hoggets and lambs. Stores were in keen demand, especially weaners, on account of the opening of the dairy season. DCXEDIX STOCK .MARKET. At the liurnside stock market on Wednesday 3874 sheep were penned, including 132 hoggets. The large yarding consisted principally of medium weight wethers, with a good number of best ewes. Prices were little altered from those ruling last week. Best wethers 20s lid to 22s 3d. extra to 24s (id, medium to good 17s (id to 19s. light 14s to His fid, best ewes 17s to 18s lid, extra to 21s, medium to good 13s (id to 15s. light Ss (id to 10s. best hoggets to 18s, others 13s (id to 15s.
