| ♦ MANAWATU TOURNAMENT. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Palmerston N., Last Night. The Manawatu golf tournament was continued to-day in fine weather. The men's drive and approach was won by Mr. H. B. Lusk (Ohristchurcu). Mrs. Bevan (Otaki) won tiie ladies' drive, 1 and the men's handicap was won bv Mr. A. Barraud (Palmerston). The following qualified for the championship, to be played to-dav:—A. Barraud 160, Harman 171, G. Saunders 171, W. B. Colbeck 172, H. B. Lusk 174, J. Harold 176, Winterburn 170, A. Seifert 177, K. Duncan 177. In the semi-finals for the ladies' championship, Mesdames Tnnes and Bevan and Misses Cave aud -Williams play off to-day.
