SUPREME COURT.
INVERCARGILL SITTINGS. By Telegraph.—Prcsi Association. Invercargill, Last Night. At the Supreme Court to-day G. Robertson was sentenced to nine months' imprisonment for sheep-stealing. The jury recommended clemency on the grounds of strong temptation. The Judge said that in no circumstances whatever should probation be granted in the case of shecp-stoalmg, wnwfli was a curse to the country.
