A ball is to be held at the Lcppertou Hall on Tuesday next, Bth September. All arrangements are well in hand for a most enjoyable function. The bulb show in connection with St. Mary]s Sunday School will take place on Thursday afternoon and evening. The display of flowers promises to be a good one, two well-known nurserymen, as well as many of the local amateur gardeners, having promised to exhibit. The fancy stall will lie made very attractive through the importation of some beautiful Venetian goods, chiefly bead and mosaic ornaments. Hitherto' the bulb shows have licen much appreciated, and it is hoped that this year will prove to be no exception to the rule. We advise our customers who are thinking of their new suits to look up
