THEATRE ROYAL,'TO-NIGHT. Messrs. Anderson and Sheridan's mammoth company will produce the great | London comedy success "The Earl an I the Girl" at the Theatre Royal to-night. Speaking of the performance, the Auck- 1 land Star says: '"The Earl and the Girl' is a delightful production, faultlessly acted and presented. The costumes were on a lavish scale. Original ballets and a full chorus were introduced to set the piece oil'; the result was excellent. The play is smartly put on, full of movement, color, and action, brisk, snappy, and exhilarating. Mr. Sheridan is a host in himself iu his ludicrous impersonation of the dojftrainer ••lini Cheeze." lie was supported by a sti'nng east of characters, both wale and female, who played their parts admirably. Messrs. Morris and Wilson., who are at the top of the tree of vaudeville fame, appeared during the comedy, and introduced some marvellous feats of tumbling. No doubt there will be * crowded house to-night. Patrons can obtain early-door tickets on payment of sixpence extra. Doors will be npc.-i at 7 p.m.
