HORSE PARADE.
The annual parade of stallions, held uniU'r the auspices of the XaranaKi Ag-rii-uluiral Society, is sui down for next Saturday week, September 12th. I Horses will muster in Eymuut street j and the parade will be .held in the section next to Mr. West's stables, ail! 1.30 p.m. Willi commendable loresignt the Agricultural Society has lixed the I' p;i'.ad, ; some weeks earlier than usual this year, the object, of course, being to allow breeders to inspect the various fires before the weeding season commences. There arc several new I sires in the district, for tire season, and it is expected that the parade will be | the best yet held in New Plymoutlu Fanners and those interested* should ] make a point of- attending the parade. as no better opportunity will lie afford- I ed of studying the animals and making the comparisons necessary for securing ttie services of the horse best suited to the different types of mares to be utilised.
