FIRE IN ANOTHER MINE. Loudon, August 28. A fire broke out in the main shaft' of the Shawfield mine in Lanarkshire The flames demolished the pithead and the frame-work of the buildings. Eighty miners wlho were in the mine escaped by other shafts. MAYPOLE MINE STILL BURNING. Received 30, 8.7 p.m. London, August 30. Yesterday the fire at the Maypole colliery was still burning.
