AN EXTRADITION TREATY.
•PORTUGAL AND AMERICA. Received 28, 0.40 p.m. 'Lisbon, August 28. The Chamber at Lisbon has approved of the extradition convention with the United States. It embodies twenty-two coses of extradition, and excludes political offenders. The treaty does not regard as political offences attempts on the lives of sovereigns or the heads of foreign States.
