SUDDEN DEATH AT A DANCE. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wellington, Friday. During the progress of a dance at Otaki, a young man named Walk*, Davis, recently of Wellington, fainted and died within a few minutes. During the afternoon he had played in a hockey match. Ho had appeared to be in liis usual health. ENDING HIS SUFFERING. Dimedin, Friday. James Carter, aged 05, was found dead in bed this morning with a bullet wound in his head and a pea rifle beside him. Deceased had been suffering from a cancerous growth in the mouth and had been despondent.
