The annual meeting of thu Incorporated Institute of Accountants of Now Zealand was held to-night. The membership of the Institute is now 203, consisting of 139 fellows, 08 associates and 20 students. There is £450 (ofn* lixed deposit, against which there is an overdraft of £4l. The president (Mr 11. C. Tewsliug) expressed the thanks of Ihe Institute to Sir Joseph Ward I nud other members of the Legislature who had been instrumental in passing the Accountants' Bill. The following Council was elected:—Messrs A. B. Robertson (Auckland centre), H. A, C. IfeKellar (Auckland), Jas. FanquhSirson (Dunedra), W. A. Ryan and J. S. Barton (Wellington).
