THE AMENDING BILL. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wellington, Last Night. The Government Advances to Set- ' tiers' Act Amendment Bill, introduced by Governor's Message to-night, increases the amount that may be borrowed under the principal Act from ' .€5,000,000 to £0,000,000. This is in accordance with promises already made by t'he Government to extend the scope of the Act.
