Mr. l'\V. JSrown waited on the Hoard re putting 1 a new bridge across the Waiongona 'ami opening a road to the LeppeHon station on the lower side of the factory. 'The Hoard considered this more a county undertaking. "With regard to New I'ly■moulh ilaiiiour Mill, as all the members; ■present reside in the Wjiitara harbour ■district no action wiis taken. Surfacemen I'aul and Palmer reported thai ■lhey had been cleaning water-tables and gettii'" uut gravel from pil during the past month, having over 100 yards ready for carting. Repairs were nuthorised to metal on Richmond Road above Waldie's Hill. It was decided to allocate the amounts for expenditure mi district roads at the next meeting. A;;H'Ounts amounting to .t!)3 were passed for payment and the Hoard adjourned.
