The chairman said that if the Canterbury Rugby Union could not get satisfaction from the New Zealand Union, they could so past the governing bodv to the sister unions.
SOUTHLAND v. MAN AWAIT,
Palmerston North, Last Night. Southland met Manawatu here on Saturday, the playing conditions being perfect, but the exhibition of Rugby was very poor. In the first spell each side secured a try and a penalty, McNeece and Broad being the Southland scorers, and Mood and Archie MeMinn for Manawatu, the spell ending G all. On changing ends, O'Connor got a good try for | Manawatu; Wood converting; Pyle scored a try for Southland, which McNeece converted. An even game ended 11 all. Mr. Laws, Wellington, refereed. 0 TAGO TOURING TEAM. Dunedfn,-Last Night.
