ACROSS AUSTRALIA BY MOTOR
AN ADVENTUROUS JOURNEY* / Port Darwin, August 22. Button, Aunger and Allchurch have arrived from Adelaide, having travelled across the continent by motor car. Both men and machine are in excellent condition after a long and ha2ardous journey.
The journey was accomplished with one set or tyres.
The motorists had some trying experiences among the sandhills. , The party had a second car, which was railed from Pine Creek. It, too, stood the journey excellently, though exposed to seven months' tropical gun and raia.
