The Taranaki Rugby Union has received the following communication from the secretary of the South Canterbury Union:—"l am instructed by the South Canterbury Union to convey jto your Union our heartiest appreciation of the kindness and hospitality bestowed by your "Union to our representatives on their recent tour. The visit to your town was a most enjoyable one, and the manager of the team and players speak in very high terms ol their sojourn in your city. Wo hope to have the pleasure of meeting your representatives in Tiniaru on sonic not very die taut dfttu."
