Deakin, states that the Federal capital site question will be practically the first question to come before Parliament in the coming session. It will be followed by the defence scheme. A Bill will also ,be introduced to establish a Bureau of Agriculture. EPIDEMIC OF PARALYSIS. Melbourne, August 15. There lias been an epidemic ot para- i lysis among children. The ailment is mysterious, and the causes Jiavc not definitely bee u made out. The treat-j ment at the best lias been unsatisfac-i tory. It is believed that about fifty cases have occurred in Melbourne.
