TRANSVAAL LEGISLATION.
THE GOLD BILL. Receivedr 10, 4.15 p.m. Pretoria, August 15. Tin; Transvaal Legislative Assembly has adopted the most contentious clause in the Gold Bill, empowering the Government to confiscate insufficientlyworked claims. A new Bill creates a reserve not exceeding £2,500,000 to provide for any deficiencies in tho Land Bank.
