Mr. Keakes' brother is in charge of the New Plymouth abattoirs. „ A granddaughter of the late Alfred Domett, '.New Zealand's celebrated poet- I ] rainier, was married in London the ether week. She was Miss Chin Domett, e'.lest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Alfred \elsoii Domett, and she has become the wife of Mr. Alexander Keith Johnston.
