WHELCH v. THOROUCIHGOOD. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wanganui, Friday. Thoroughgood, the champion Bculler of Australia, writes to "Victor" of the Wanganui Herald asking him to let. Whelcli know about his challenge to him. Thoroughgood desires a reply it once, aa he has received a challenge from Pcarce, but if Whelcli will row, the Australian champion will give him the first race. The race is to be for £2OO a-sidc, and Thoroughgood will allow Whelch £SO for expenses if he lose*. The match would be for the championship of Australia, and would have to be rowed in Australia.
