SENTENCED TO THREE YEARS' HARD LABOR. Received 14, 10 p.m. Sydney, August 14. William Stanley Forbes, late Sydney manager of the Scottish Union and National Insurance Company, was sentenced to three years' hard labor for stealing valuable securities belonging to the company.
