ACCIDENTS AND FATALITIES.
DEATII FROM POISONING. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Napier, Last .Night. An inquest was held at Hustings this morning on the body of Edward John Louergan, aged 'ii, who met his dealili by poisoning last Saturday morning, it was stilted that deceased's father had died about a week ago. This upset liie son, who was himself suffering from a s.vcro cold. He was drinking last', week, and is believed to have mistaken a bottle of disiniectant called "Tarmoliiu" lor a bottle of beer. The disiniectant was not labelled poison. A sister saw deceased drinking the "Tarmonia," and when she told liim what, it was he spat it out. The following verdict was returned: ''That deceased met his death by drinking Turmonia,' containing carhol'ie aeid, iu mistake for beer, with no intention of destroying I himself." ,
