might be possible to make an approach for reunion of Anglican, Presbyterian, or other non-Episcopalian churches, and recommends to Bishops permission to j assist at the consecration of Bishops of toe -Moravian Brethren. It directs the •rnmato to appoint a committee to imSunday school instruction, an<l authorises local churches to adopt native forms of marriage if not polygamous: urges the aholition of redundant rubric to avoid repetition, and the enrichment °{ the forms of servioe and worship froi.i older methods; also more alternative forms of worship; the retranslation of .the Athanasian Creed, leaving the churches to decide upon its use; change of obscure words; and revise the calendar and tables of lessons. It considers it undesirable to change the manner of administering the Communion, and declares that bread and wine alone are sanctioned.
The Encyclical further urges the strengthening of the relations with the ancient Dutch "Church and the old catholic churches, especially those of Germany, Switzerland, and Austria. It warns members of the church against marrying Roman Catholics, anl advises that the social mission and social principles of Christianity should have a more prominent place in the stndy and teaching'of the church, both for clergy and laity. The Conference allots the church in Australia and Tasmania one member on the reconstituted central consultative board, also the church in New Zealand one.
