Mr. Newton King has received the following report from .Messrs. 1!. and V\\ Davidson, Glasgow, under date 2111. h June:— Rutter.—Our market at the end 'if last week and the beginning of this wee]: was very buoyant, and prices advanced several shillings per hundredweight. As the week advanced there set in a somewhat quieter feeling, and merchants are now verv chary of buying anything but what they actually require to fill orders. The arrivals from all quarters show .'■• slight increase, and are apparently quite sufficient to fill all needs. Our telegraphic advice from Copenhagen states that the market. there continues firm, and the committee at their meeting today have made no change in the quotation. All over the United Kingdom the • weather has been warm and bright, and • the hay crop this year is going to bo one of the largest we have had for many years. Danish and Swedish Rutters: There has been a fairly active demand at about 2s advance. Stocks, however, are not entirely cleared, and at the finish the market had a slightly quieter feeling. Choicest qualities 114s to 115s. Siberian Butter: Arrivals this week ' have met with an active, demand, and . stocks have been well cleared at 2s or 3s of an advance.
