PARIS LABOR CONFEDERATION'S APPEAL. ~ PurU, August 4. Most of tho trade unions did not respond to the Labor Confederation's appeal for a general strike, and an utflir fiasco resulted. The Government lias decided not to suppress the Confederation, but to prosecute the leaders individually.
