FLEET WEEK.
STEAMER ARRANGEMENTS. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Auckland, Last Night. To cope with the heavy influx of visitors which will almost certainly set Hi towards the end of the present week, the steamship companies concerned are making special arrangements. Some 170 passengers arrived liy the Koloiti from New Plymouth, Wellington, and Nelson to-day, while 200 arrived by the Jloa.ia via the East Coast on Sunday, and 250 more will reach here hy the Waikarc to-morrow. The Union Company will also run the Flora on a special trip, arriving in Auckland on Friday with 150 | passengers, and the same vessel, if neeesdouble bank by returning |o uisborne for more. On tho West Coast, the liotoiti, leaving to-day, returns from Wellington without calling at Nelson, and should kind 220 visitors at Onehunga on Sunday. The Takapunu, from New Plymouth, is bringing a similar complement on the same dav. The IfuddiirrI'arker steamer AViiunieni should bring to Auckland on Sunday :lliU inure. Altogether it is calculated that the Vnion and IluudsU't-l'arker Companies on botji coasts will have accounted for about lliilll passengers for the week cluing Sunday uexl. The Clansman, which 'eft liussell for Auckland last evening, h.-.s 8S passengers on board.
