BIG ROBBERY WHHJUiICY. London, August 2. llio Pieterruaritzburg correspondent of the Daily Mail states that sixteen detectives are investigating a conspiracy to rob the Hand Confederated. -Mines. It is said tliat the miners hand quantities of gold to women, who carry it to the coast. The gangs oper- *'' from Durban to Capetown. The correspondent adds that £20,003 worth of gold has been stolen from 'th« mines since the beginning i,f the year.
