ACCIDENTS AND FATALITIES.
DROWNED IN A RIVER. By Telegraph'—Press Association. Palmerston, Last Night. Andrew McEwen, one of the early Manawatu settlers, drowned himself in the Manawatu river to-day. Deceased was a 1 dairy farmer living at Jackeytown. He met with an accident some time ago, which is Said to have affected his brain.
