Writing to the Melbourne "Leader' of 2nd May last on the subject of child labor in relation to the Australian dairy industry, Mr. W. H. Potts, Principal at the Hawkesbury Agricultural College, says: "We look to the milking-machine to displace this objectionable form of service. Its uae is no longer a matter of doubt or experiment. At our college here at Hawkesbury the 'L.K.G.' machines have been in daily use for past six years.. We have observed no ill effects on the cows.
