Rowlands, commencing at 1 o'clock, but previous to this sale he will sell ni the Tiniaru bridge a quantity of timber and a shed. Yesterday a meeting of ladies was held to make preliminary arrangements for the Star Football Club social. A strong ladies' committee was formed, witli Mrs. Dockrill as president. The date of the fixture is \he 20th August.
