IRISH SLANDER CASE. London, July 24. At t'hc Cork Assizes the cuso of the Hon, Alexis Roche v. Sir Timothy O'Brien, a claim for damages for slander, was abruptly terminated. Mem' here of the jury declared that Sir Timothy, through a third party, had attempted to influence their decision. The Judge granted a conditional order attaching Sir Timothy for contempt of Court.
