DEATH RATE DECREASED.
The Chicago Tribune, in a recent article on what medical science lias been able to accomplish for the benefit of humanity, drew particular attention to the one great fact that stands pre-emi-nent in the light of reliable statistic--. viz., that the death-rate of the world has, through its agency, been positively decreased.
