President of Iho Hoard of Trade, is appointing a Departmental committee to enquire how ] far and in what manner the general supply, distribution and price of meat in the United -Kingdom is controlled or all'ected by a combination of linns or companies. Lord Robert Cecil is chairman of the committee, which include* four Commoners, a representative of the Hoards of Trade ami Agriculture, and also an expert of the meat trade.
