Daniels, the American, in lmiu 5 3-sscc, whiilw 1 is a new record for the distance. Daaip iels beat Z. M. Halmay by a yard. in the 1500 metres swimming race licaurcpaire (Victoria) won his heat, but Springfield (Queensland) was beaten by Battersby.
ILUItDLING. London, July 21. In the 400 metres hurdle race Bacon, the American, defeated D. Murray, of Dublin. The winner's time was 57see., and Olympic Games record.
